Alice E. Johnson is a published author with a decade of writing experience, working across historical fiction and epic fantasy.

Her historical fiction focuses on the Regency and Georgian eras — morally complex characters navigating brutal social systems, cycles of trauma, and survival at the margins of society. Her epic fantasy explores similar territory through darker, more expansive worlds.

She is currently developing THE LION'S CHAMBER, a six-season historical drama series set in 1810s Nottingham, and has appeared on BBC local radio discussing historical research and the craft of writing.
